Workplace Training for mental resilience

Employees are the life blood of business and yet so many people are living with stress both at home and at work.

According to research, 95% of all disease and illness has a stress root (Stanford University Medical School: 1998). Figures released for 2018, from the UK Health and Safety Executive indicate that 57% of workforce absenteeism is stress related. And yet people have little idea of what stress is and, more importantly what the long-term effects on the individual are.

I have developed Resilient MindGym to help your employees improve their emotional, mental and physical health. This training offers a comprehensive, structured approach to help people understand and manage stress symptoms and includes both detailed notes and recordings. These provide a structure to work from so attendees can integrate these changes into their lives following the training.

I offer employers a variety of modules and can create a bespoke syllabus for each workshop. The basic two-hour package contains modules on the following:

  • Understanding stress and, the effect it has on us emotionally, mentally and physically

  • The conscious mind versus the subconscious mind

  • Simple relaxation techniques – Mindfulness and Hypnotherapy

  • The power of thoughts

  • An introduction to EFT (also known as Tapping)

  • Understanding the breath

Additional Modules:

  • Social Media

  • Setting well-formed outcomes

  • Letting go of the past

  • Managing pain with EFT

  • Sleep hygiene and insomnia

  • EFT for negative issues

  • Creating a cheerleader – no more inner critic

Many health companies are advocating mindfulness as the holy grail for good mental health. Mindfulness can be useful but often, trainers do not understand the limitations and dangers it poses, as much of the advice is generic and based on a one size fits all approach. That is not my approach.

At the end of the Resilient MindGym course attendees will:

  • Understand the power of thoughts

  • Have tools to calm the fight or flight response in the brain

  • Learn how to let go of behaviours that are not useful

  • Increase emotional and mental resilience

  • Understand how to implement good mental health into daily life

If your current provision is not giving you the results that you require, I would be happy to discuss the Resilient MindGym approach with you.
